A little get away...

We headed out this Saturday morning with a little get away in mind. First we had to stop by preschool registration. Garna ended up finishing it up for us by waiting for the lottery drawing. They were near the end of the class slots left and we were called! Phheww! Honestly, I couldn't sleep much last night just thinking about not getting in. It is exactly what I wanted for Lucy next year. Lucy will be going to preschool 2 days a week next school year. Yay! Thank you Aunt Laurie and Garna for helping Lucy get into her future preschool.

We headed out and made the trip with just a few, Are we there yet questions?!!

We headed downtown KC to check out Country Club Plaza. Lots of great shopping! I will have to come back sometime with Mom, Tami, and Laurie. They had every store you could imagine wanting at a mall but all outside.

We stopped by Crown Plaza and watched ice skating, fountains and shopped the Crayola store.

We decided to head back to the hotel right across the street from one of the main reasons for our little get away to KC.

Finally, we made it to the pool. She talked about it all day and it is all she REALLY wanted to do. So we enjoyed about an hour of swimming. Then up to get ready for.....

Yep! Carrabbas! Yum, yum, yum. Glad to see this place CRAZY busy. What would we do if they took away the KC one too? We decided to sit at the food bar so Lucy could watch all the kitchen action! Thank you Peter for the gift card!

And then back to the hotel for the all time kid must at a hotel. Bed jumping!
