I am Thankful for many things. What an eventful month of November. I am thankful for the beautiful new house that we will soon be calling home. I am thankful for an adorable two year old who is full of personality and energy. I am also thankful for my loving husband who makes our journey enjoyable.

Just when I thought our new house was plenty of a 30th birthday present, Jeremy surprised me with a trip to Kansas City for a night. We left Saturday morning and arrived at our hotel downtown early afternoon. We shopped around Crown Plaza for a bit then got ready to go out to dinner at Carrabbas. Carrabbas is one of our most favorite missed restaurants. It was delicious. After dinner the weather made it enjoyable to walk around and check out some of the Christmas lights. We topped off the evening sipping Chocolate Martinis on top of the Hyatt at the revolving restaurant and lounge over looking the city. What a memorable 30th birthday!!
